10 Bible Verses That Prove Your Life Has Value

October 3, 2016 3 Comments

Welcome to Day 3 of 31 Days of Battling Anxiety with Biblical Truth!

Your life has value. Your life has value. Your life has value.

I hope you have been repeating yesterday’s truth to yourself often. Today will be a quick post, because I am on the way to Connection Ministry at East Carolina University to deliver this very message tonight. I covet your prayers for these dear college students as they soak up the truth that their lives matter.

But as you and I battle on in this series, here are ten verses that prove you are loved, chosen, and valuable.

Read them throughout the day. Return to them when you feel anxious. Share them with a friend who needs to hear these words for herself. Enjoy!

You Matter | www.therescuedletters.com this …

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. – 1 Peter 2:9

Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. – Luke 12:7

Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life. – Isaiah 43:4

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. – Psalm 139:14

But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. – Isaiah 43:1

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. – 1 John 4:4

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. – Ephesians 2:10

For this is what the Lord Almighty says: “After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you—for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye.” – Zechariah 2:8

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. – Romans 5:8

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. – Ephesians 2:4-5

Curious about this 31 Days thing? There are hundreds of other writers joining the challenge to write every day for the month of October. The topics range from faith and inspiration to home and family to everything under the sun. Every few days during our anxiety series, I’ll be introducing you to some of these amazing writers.

Today, I’d like you to meet my friend, Meredith. She’s writing about finding peace in the chaos of our lives. If you are seeking anxiety-free living, I think you’ll enjoy what she has to offer.

For now, I’m off to ECU! Until tomorrow, carry on warriors!
