If your Bible has been sitting unopened this week, you’re not alone. Life gets busy, routines get full, and before we know it, God’s Word gets nudged to the side. But here’s the truth that I’ve found in my life: reading the Bible transforms my life. God’s Word brings peace, purpose, comfort, and wisdom.
Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” This verse is a promise to both you and I that whatever we are facing, Scripture will show us our next right step. Without God’s Word lighting our steps, we’re left stumbling in the dark. But with it, even the smallest step forward becomes guided, steady, and safe.
This month inside No Dusty Bibles, we’re focusing on what it means to be rooted in the Word—because spiritual growth doesn’t happen by accident. It happens one day, one verse, one step at a time.
To help you start fresh, I created a 7-Day Guided Bible Reading Plan covering three short books in the New Testament. These books are easy to read, accessible, and applicable to our daily lives. Print it, tuck it in your journal, or place it next to your Bible. It’s a simple tool to help you build (or rebuild!) a steady rhythm with God’s Word.
If your Bible has been collecting dust, consider this your gentle nudge: crack it open today. God has something He wants to say to you.
Rooting for you, always.
