Yesterday, my team and I wrapped up our Vision Days for 2024, and let me tell you, we have some exciting things coming your way! I can’t wait to share them with you soon.
In the meantime, I’m reaching out today to encourage those of you who are women’s ministry leaders, either in your local church or personal ministry. August can be a month filled with to-do lists and overwhelming emotions, as many church calendars operate on a schedule that mirrors the school year. This means that September often brings the launch of new programs and offerings. This time of the year is so exciting!
But I get it —it can also be really stressful.
But, God. And the incredible privilege we have to communicate directly with Him.
As the Women’s Ministry Director for my home church, I set aside time this week to pray for my team and the women we serve. I compiled a 4-week list of prayers for my women’s ministry team, and I thought you might find it helpful as well.
As leaders in women’s ministry, our hearts are bound together in a shared calling to nurture and encourage the women we serve. With a year ahead filled with both opportunities and challenges, prayer is not just a part of our ministry; it has to be the foundation. John 15 teaches us that apart from Jesus we can do nothing. Let’s start this year of ministry rooted in prayer.
Below you’ll find five main prayers and a link to a more detailed four-week prayer guide for your women’s ministry team. Within it, you’ll find heartfelt prayers for every aspect of your ministry, each one a step toward unity, spiritual growth, and profound kingdom impact. Embrace these prayers, and let’s walk hand in hand, trusting that the God who called us will faithfully guide our way.
I am rooting for you, always.
