You too? Yeah, the realization is sinking in for me that as we move into the fall and winter seasons – a time of the year largely reserved for hibernation and Hallmark movies – we’re doing it without our usual fill of socialization and exposure to other humans.
Even introverts like me are yearning for honest and intimate connection – a face to face, eye to eye, acknowledgement with a fellow friend that we are in this together.
I wish more than anything that I could reach across this screen and give you a giant hug right now. We’d sit out on my back porch and I’d pour you a cup of coffee or tea. We’d commiserate over our biggest COVID-19 challenges, laugh over not being able to find a mask that actually fits our face, and reassure each other that everything is going to be alright.
God is still in control, amen?
People need people. Women need fellowship with other women. So I’m guessing you might fall into one of these categories:
You are an event planner for women’s ministry.
You know an event planner for women’s ministry.
You really hope an event planner for women’s ministry will plan something soon once they can safely do so.
There is a special kind of sweetness that happens at a women’s event. Have you experienced that too? I can’t fully describe it…it’s live-giving and uplifting and encouraging.
Which is why I’ve created something special for the event planners in the women’s ministry world…and those who know them. What is it?
It’s an INSTANT EVENT! Because we are all stretched thin these days, I want to give you a boost in prepping for that next event when you are ready.
In it, you’ll find an entire event prepped for you, including the theme, a Spotify playlist personally crafted by me to go along with the theme, the program schedule – which you can use for a morning or evening event, a vision board for simple decor and design, a checklist for promoting your event, and a prayer schedule.
If you know an event planner or are hoping your church or ministry organization will host an opportunity for women to connect, would you mind sharing this post with them? You would have my undying gratitude.
If you are the event planner, contact me here and let me know how we can partner together to serve your community well. I am currently booking my speaking calendar for 2021 and I want to be ready to move when God says go.
Let’s do this, together. Much love,
