How The Rescued Letters Collective Started

Tom and Heather lead a youth Bible study for local high school students. Heather disciples several young women in the group.

Heather becomes a mom to Thomas and steps away from the youth Bible study to focus on motherhood.

Driven by a passion to mentor young women eager for profound biblical insights, Heather begins writing Bible studies to address the limited teen discipleship options available at the time.

After several major medical events, Heather is diagnosed with Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. She launches The Rescued Letters blog with a post about miscarriage and a total of 6 readers. Heather starts sharing her testimony at local events.

Keep going

With encouragement from fellow small group members and her local church, Heather writes and publishes Ready: Finding the Courage to Face the Unknown.

Heather's speaking ministry expands; Heather is speaking at 25+ women's events across the country. The No Dusty Bibles community is launched.

Ready catches the attention of a traditional publisher in Nashville, who partners with Heather to publish Determined and eventually Renewed.

Hannah joins The Rescued Letters as the Director of Operations.

The Rescued Letters becomes The Rescued Letters Collective, a collection of ministry endeavors committed to Biblical literacy for all women.
