Some 2,000 years ago, the people of God waited. Having been 400 years since they had heard from Him, they probably wondered if He had forgotten about them. And still, some held out hope that they would see the prophecies of old come true.
Today, we might have a similar question in our minds: has God forgotten about me? Will He answer my prayer? Is it foolish to still hope?
